This policy explains what personal data OperantaOps collects, how we use it, and how we act as a data processor for our logistics clients.

1. Who we are

OperantaOps is a trading name of SF Global Trade Pvt. Ltd., an offshore operations partner to freight forwarders, NVOCCs, customs brokers and 3PLs. For questions about this policy, contact operations@operantaops.com.

2. What personal data we collect on this website

When you use operantaops.com or contact us via forms, we may collect: (a) your name, business email, phone number, company name and role; (b) the message content you submit; (c) technical data such as IP address, browser, device and referrer captured through standard web analytics. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

3. Why we collect it

Business enquiry response, service delivery, contract administration, invoicing, security monitoring and regulatory compliance. We do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstance.

4. Our role as a data processor for clients

For our clients (freight forwarders, NVOCCs, customs brokers, 3PLs), OperantaOps acts as a data processor (or data intermediary in Singapore / processor under UK GDPR) under the client's instructions. Personal data belonging to the client's customers, vendors and employees is processed strictly under a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA). We do not use client personal data for any purpose beyond delivering the agreed services.

5. Cross-border transfers

Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), UK IDTA / UK Addendum, and equivalent instruments as required. Sub-processors, if any, are disclosed in the DPA and bound to equivalent obligations.

6. Retention

Website enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless a business relationship is established. Client-instructed personal data is retained per the DPA and the client's retention rules.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, UK GDPR, PDPA (Singapore) and equivalent frameworks, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object. To exercise these rights on data we hold about you as controller, email operations@operantaops.com. For data we process on behalf of a client, please contact the client directly as controller.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for site operation and privacy-friendly analytics (no cross-site advertising). If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will publish a cookie banner with consent controls at that point.

9. Security

See our Data Security page (/trust/data-security) for the controls we operate. All access is MFA-enforced, endpoints are encrypted, and we run documented incident response.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance.
