AMS and ACE entry preparation — trained offshore specialists.
AMS ocean, AMS air and ACE entry data preparation and transmission for freight forwarders, NVOCCs and licensed brokers.
Overview
AMS (Automated Manifest System) and ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) are the CBP data channels that carry manifest and entry data into US customs. Errors, delays and mismatches translate directly into cargo holds, demurrage and CBP scrutiny. Operanta's AMS / ACE desk builds and transmits the manifest and entry data on behalf of freight forwarders, NVOCCs and licensed brokers — working alongside your licensed broker who retains professional responsibility. We handle AMS ocean and AMS air manifest filings, HBL and MBL data, entry data preparation, HTS classification support (advisory), and the exception workflow when a filing is rejected or held.
Why outsource AMS / ACE preparation
AMS and ACE data preparation is high-volume, deadline-driven and unforgiving. A single AMS mis-match delays cargo release and triggers demurrage. A wrong HTS causes a duty overpayment or a CBP inquiry. Local hiring for AMS-experienced coordinators is now scarce and expensive. Our dedicated AMS / ACE desks bring 5–10 years of average AMS filing experience to bear at a 55–60% lower total cost.
- AMS ocean and air manifest filings prepared to CBP timing rules
- ACE entry data preparation and 7501 line preparation support

Frequently asked questions
Are you a licensed US customs broker?
No. Our AMS / ACE desk supports your licensed broker or self-filer. We do the data preparation and transmission through their filer connection; professional responsibility remains with them.
Can you file AMS 24 hours before vessel loading?
Yes — this is our baseline. Every AMS ocean manifest is prepared and transmitted at least 24 hours before vessel loading; AMS air is transmitted at least 4 hours before wheels-up.
Do you handle ACE entry preparation?
Yes. We prepare the entry summary (7501) data, HTS classification support (advisory), PGA data flags and duty calculation checks. Filing transmission goes through your licensed broker's ABI.
How do you resolve holds and rejections?
Every hold or rejection is triaged within 30 minutes of receipt, root-caused, corrected and re-transmitted. A weekly hold-cause analysis is included in your report pack.
What is the peak-season plan?
Our dedicated FTE model scales in 14–21 days per additional seat. Most clients plan a 25% peak buffer with us in advance.
